Does the nausea ever go away? I really want to eat my Christmas dinner. I have very little appetite and when I do eat I get very nauseous afterwards. It really doesn't matter what I eat, I get nausea.

I've been on a low fiber diet for months. I'm thinking about just saying the hell with it and eat whatever because I feel sick either way.

Maybe the Humira is playing a part. But still felt sick before starting it. Only had an appetite while on prednisone .

Is this what living with Crohn's is going to be like? Does it ever get any better?

Merry Christmas. Here's hoping some of you can enjoy a Christmas dinner.:ghug:

It does go away sometimes, it s hard enough living with crohns so don't put yourself under too much pressure to do the whole Xmas deal. Go with the flow and do what your body lets you. Even if you only manage a bit, it's still an achievement and it doesn't have to ruin your day!!
Happy Christmas and good luck

Sorry about this! I hope your Christmas was good, and that you were able to eat some. Have you tried any prescription anti-nausea meds, like zofran or phenargan? They don't help to increase appetite, but often my appetite seems better when I take one of those simply because I'm not as nauseous.
