My gut totally gave out last year and I couldn't eat anything without pain. I gave up gluten which 10 years ago I showed an antibody against but the gastro dr only cared about whether I had Celiac disease, so I kept eating bread, my vice. I noticed I was increasingly sick on days of pasta, etc so when I hit the bricks, I gave up all grain, all dairy, all sugar, etc and it took about 6 months to start to feel better and to be able to go to the bathroom in a more normal way.

I was looking for help for my husband who has RSD and the woman at this farm that makes salves with honey mentioned that 3 tbsp a day of raw honey will effectively treat IBS. I thought I'd post this since this might be an inexpensive experiment.

It is hard to be grain free, I added Maninis bread that tastes very good and easy to make yourself but I really think I do better without any grain.
It is a hard diet to stick with but now that my husband can't have anything inflammatory, it is easier to do as a duo. Our grandddaughter also has been taken off of dairy and gluten.

I am grain free. It was a difficult transition, but very helpful. There are tons of recipes out there to make grain free bread, pancakes, etc. Try Paleo recipes websites, as they are grain free.
