I am so glad I found this forum. Tonight I had to give myself a shot and I iced my thigh first. I would never have thought to do that until I read about it in this forum. It made a huge difference. It cut the pain by more than half. I wish I found this forum 10 months ago when I started Humira.

How long did you ice your thigh before you did the injection?

I tried icing my stomach for the first time in the 2+ years I've been on Humira last time I took it and I didn't notice a difference. I usually am too impatient/ansty to wait long enough so maybe that was my problem.

I iced it about 10 minutes. I put an ice pack on it for 10 minutes.
