Firstly, unsure if this is in the wrong part of the forum, so I apologise if so.

Basically had my reversal operation for an ileostomy back in August, and I've been as patient as possible.. however, it's now got the point of me wondering whether this is 'normal' or whether, the Crohn's may be rearing its ugly head again.
I've suffered from the good old d since the operation, yes it's slowed down, but in the past month or so - coinciding with assignment deadlines/stress at Uni - I seem to have had it a lot worse - and it basically happens alot now, and 7/10 is actually d, or semi solid. I seem to be going around 6-7xs a day, which may not seem alot but by the end of the day my arse is sore. Back at Xmas I thought I turned a corner and was doing normal poo's once a day. Is this normal for the type of surgery I had? Or could the Crohn's be returning?

On top of that, a random rash that I had before my diagnosis and went with steriods has returned. On top of this, I'm so tired the majority of the time and at about 3pm in the afternoon seem to have a massive dip in my energy.

Currently about to start the tests to see if it has returned - but just wondered especially if someone else out there has been reversed whether they've gone through something similar in terms of diarrhoea or whether they are back to 'normal?'

I haven't been reversed but know someone who was who went through months of diarrhea and is just starting to return to normal. The crohn's definitely needs maintenance therapy to keep it at bay.

Thank you :) That has put my mind slightly at rest! I'll be honest perhaps I went into all of this a little too niavely and thought that my bowels would be fine after the op.. no-one actually told me anything otherwise.

Yep, my consultant told me that a while back, which is why he's now started the tests again, to see if the Crohn's is returning or isn't..
