So I have been MIA for quite some time now, but I am back and for good this time. I have realized this is my happy place and I enjoy talking to people who truly understand what I'm going through instead of people who pretend to. I can honestly say this is the roughest year I've had so far, nothing is going my way what so ever. So here's my update!
I ended everything with my ex for good. I found out I was pregnant after we had split up and he had the nerve to come to my house, and then beat me. So I had a miscarriage, which I was very bummed about because it was a miracle I was even pregnant in the first place. Through all this mess, I graduated college with my associates in art pre psychology and I'm going back in the fall to continue school to become a chronic illness counselor. I did press charges so I have to deal with court in between everything else which is just lovely in itself. After my miscarriage my crohns decided to come back for revenge. I was in the ER 3-4 nights a week just for relief and to get hydrated because I couldn't keep any food in. I found a new doctor and he wanted a colonoscopy to see for himself. So on Tuesday I had my 10th colonoscopy.. yay.. My crohns is very severe and active and he couldn't believe what he saw. He was truly furious that my previous doctor had not done anything for me and was sorry that I was having to live this way. So he increased my Humira and doubled my steroids for a month and when I go in for my appointment he's going to tell me what medications he thinks will work for me and hopefully give me some relief. I'm glad someone is finally deciding to listen to me. Nothing against my previous doctor but clearly he was pushing for the pharmacy companies and just wanted my money, he didn't give two craps about my well being. I'm not sure what's next for me medication wise, Humria has slowly started to lose all affects for me its almost pointless to take it. So if you have any suggestions on medications please let me know!
So sorry I've missed out on so much. But I'm glad to be back and talk to all of you again. I hope you're doing well!
