What do people do when they get bored?

I have had to spend my day laying on the sofa as I've got a lot of back pain and really tired but now I'm really bored and fidgety from doing nothing all day!

Finding it hard to find something to do at this time in the evening, especially when all my family are tired from being at work and just watch tv all evening!

Anyway just wondered what other people do:)

Hope everyone's as well as they can be:) x

I do a lot of crafts - I crochet, sew, and lately I've been playing around with making chain maille jewelry. I can do something like crochet while I'm lying on the couch watching TV, and that way at least my hands are occupied and I don't feel worthless. And when I'm done, I have a nice scarf/blanket/whatever that I can use or give away as a gift. :)

I also like to study new things - I'm trying to teach myself Korean. So I'll look over my Korean vocab cheat sheets, or just watch Korean dramas trying to pick out words & phrases I know.

And I play video games too - when I'm not feeling well, then I tend to go for something that doesn't require a lot of thought, like the Sims or Animal Crossing.

Hey, I can relate. I try and take a short walk, call a friend, read or check out this forum.

I was gonna go for a walk but my parents think im 4 years old and said it was to late to go on my own but wouldn't come with me! Definitely gonna try and get out tomorrow xx

I mostly play video games in my spare time! I have pretty much every console and handheld, haha. It's an easy thing to do on days where I don't have the spoons for much. (Well, as long as I don't play the more intensive ones.) It's especially nice to just lose yourself exploring a world when in reality you can't do too much at the moment.

Otherwise I tend to watch TV. Food network when I don't have so much brain power, and then I like to watch Hannibal/Elementary/Fargo/etc lately.

@Cat: I didn't know you played Animal Crossing! :p I do too.

No one has to see what you write, first thing i wrote was in the first person and looked like it had a line of 'I's running down it. I was horrified.

But I promise you the more you write the happier you will be with it
