Forks over Knives. Watched it tonight and made me feel very fortunate for being vegan. Even though it doesn't bring up crohn's I feel that it could be applied towards not only cancer but also crohn's and many other illnesses. Definitely has me thinking.

It's actually playing at the University that my daughter attends tomorrow! I think she plans on seeing it :)

I saw it with my fiance as I was trying a vegan diet for two months. It's an interesting, enjoyable movie but the vegan way didn't work for me though I know it works for many. I think it's about figuring out what our bodies need and honoring that. Just remember to take you vitamin B12 if you're going vegan :)

I followed a strict vegan diet for 8 months. Its very detoxing, but it did not help my crohns at all. In fact my disease spiralled out of control, not that I blame being vegan on that.

I just did a gluten free diet for 2 months without much luck either.

So far a whole foods, unprocessed diet works best for me.

We still eat vegetarian/vegan meals about 3-4 days a week. I know some really great healthy recipes, that I loved during that 8 months.

I'm with you on the organic whole foods Lydia, that's all I buy now. My next step is to grow as much of my own as I can :)

I'm watching it now. Lol. Very interesting. I try my best to eat alot of non processed food and fresh foods. I have a hard time cutting out dairy though... I'm addicted.
