I am going to be calling my GI tomorrow but I wanted to hear everyones thoughts
I think I posted somewhere on here about the dose of Humira that I messed up. When I took the needle out half of the dose squirted out with it. Since there was no way of knowing how much of the dose was actually missed, I couldn't add another dose to supplement it.
That was about 3 weeks ago. From then my back really started acting up, I couldn't get out of bed if my life depended on it and in general I just felt like crap.
Last week I was able to do the next dose of Humira, and as expected it tremendously helped my back. But the rest of my still feels like crap. I thought maybe it was because my period was going to start, but it came and went and I still feel awful. I am not really have cramps, my guts just feel a little upside down with occasional stomach aches. But I get nauseous really easily, I have a very little appetite and I am EXHAUSTED.
The Humira is helping my back, but I don't think it is doing anything for Crohn's.
I really don't have the energy to deal with a flare right now, I am hoping that is not the case and I start to feel better. Maybe the Humira is giving me flare like symptoms while my body gets used to it?

There are so many variables and it's frustrating not knowing what's going on with your body. It may not be helping the crohns, it may be a side effect but in reality your guts are healing or you could have what I think I may have which is IBS on top of the IBD which is harmless but scary because we don't know what is what and how serious to take the symptoms.

yea, idk, going to call my GI and make an appointment. Hopefully its something I can quickly kick

My whole body hurts. ALL of my joints hurt. Even my face hurts. Yet again I am at a breaking point. There is only so much pain one person can take.

Ditto. The Humira standard dose for Crohn's is either every other week or weekly. You need your regular dose to keep the levels up or Crohn's symptoms, in my case anyway, come back very fast. So you may need to do one earlier than you have.

This stinks, Afidz. You have been through more than anyone should have to go through in a lifetime! I am really sorry, and am just going to pray that things are going to turn around for you. You deserve it!
