Yes, Indica is better.
Indica is lower in THC and higher in cannabinol and cannabidol. Those are the two compounds that react with the CBD2 receptors in the gut delivering the analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects directly where it is needed.

I only smoke indica.

I got some northern lights..I just rolled up a j and smoked..WOW. pretty good stuff and did wonders for the pain and cramps from after I usually eat i'd get... haven't had them in a while now!

Didn't know this... I've been snagging sativa from my local dispensary because i like the mental alertness, but i might just have to resign myself to settling deep into the couch for the sake of health :) Do gotta say that the sativa still works well for relieving stress, alleviating nausea and reducing tension in my stomach...

Any pot helps, but Indica will have more of a medicinal effect in the long run. You could get different strains, a sativa for day and an indica for night. My dispensary gives the ratio of sativa and indica in each strain they sell. I have several different strains for the time of day. I smoke the heavier indicas just before going to bed.

Hi new to this forum ; ) I am glad ot hear that the indica is more benificial, I do not like sativa at all, it gives me a giddy short lasting buzz and a headche. For me the indica relieves the nausea and I do not, cannot and will not sit and vegitate on it.. Hence my almost 1am post ; ) It has the effect of a Xanex/Prozac mix for me. I am able to destress and relax inside and get seriously focused and busy on the outside. The trouble I have found is that I cannot seem to always get that one particular strain that really works for me. I prefer the Afghani when it is available. Has anyone tried capsules? I also take one of those per day in the morning. They soothe my pokes and prods in the midsection, as I am still 'Undiagnosed' until a procedure in Sept/my Dr has me on low dose Pentasa and a couple of different acid inhibtors b/c I have constant flares. YaY for me ; ) Anyway, A Capsule a day helps keep the Cramps at Bay!
