Infection after infection while on Cimzia

Since starting cimzia my husband has had thrush, an ear infection AND shingles on his face... He has only been on Cimzia for 3 months. Is there any type of supplement that you can take that will not interfere with Cimzia but will help reduce infection? His Crohns is doing much better but constant infections are pretty scary too...

Has he had his vitamin D level tested? How about zinc? For helping the immune system work well, my big ones would be making sure he had good levels of vitamin D, zinc, and magnesium. People with Crohn's are commonly deficient in all three and they are incredibly important for immune system function.
