Infliximab

Hey guys my gi wants me to try infliximab just wondering about anyone whos tried it and what you think of it.

What benefits and side effects have you had from it and is it worth the results

I went from having severe stomach pains, bleeding every day and going to the toilet 20+ times a day to toilet times 4-6 a day, slight bloating, no pain, no blood. Im still not perfect and still need to watch what i eat and drink but its given me a new lease of life. Im really glad I tried it and couldnt praise it enough. Havent had any side effects from it so far (4 infusions)

Hi BOZA, have you seen the Remicade (infliximab) subforum? There's a lot of information there and I bet there will be answers to some of your questions there.

wow sounds great will have to give it a shot also didn't know that remicade is the same will have a look in there

Yep! I don't know about other countries but at least in the U.S. infliximab is the generic name for Remicade.

I hope you find some of the answers you're looking for. I took Humira instead of Remicade so I don't have any personal experience with it. I know a lot of people have been happy with it though.
