Intravenous immunoglobulin for the treatment of Crohn's disease

Hi Malgrave,
I think it could help very many people with auto-immune diseases. The idea being to swamp out auto-antibodies with an infusion of normal non-attacking antibodies.....so the attacking ones have less of a chance to attack. It is very costly, I think.

But apparently raw camel's milk might have the same effect, owing to some unique immunoglobulins. A nice read (not scientific paper, just a blog type article by Julie Matthews) on this subject: "Camel Milk: Healing or Hype?". My dear other half (being of Arab extraction) has long told me of the virtues of Camel's milk and I lived in the Middle East for a few years but have not tried it as of yet....to my regret perhaps :) Though he was not aware bedouins send their children to drink camel's milk for a couple of weeks to set up their immune system for life (Julie's article) .....I am not sure if that is the Weston Price book Julie got that info from or from learning it from Bedouins directly. I have read that book many years ago but cannot remember that. I might try and borrow it again.

Thanks for the article.
juljul xx
