Is this in my head? High Pain with only small area affected with Crohn's

Hi
I have just received my latest scan results to be told my crohns affects 12 cm in my terminal ileum..
By following other stories I am aware of how little this is but I'm in constant pain. I have a high pain level (childbirth with no relief).
Just wondering if anyone else has similar symptoms with so little affected. I no I'm badly scared as they couldn't doing a colposcopy .
Feel like its in my head!

The imaging wouldn't lie. It's impossible to correlate our pains with the extent of damage. An inch of diseases intestine can be brutal to one person while feet of disease may only be mildly uncomfortable to the next. We all vary in pain management and that's why we need to keep on top of the illness by checking with tests.
