Is this possible

Hi guys I got hospitalized in mid october with a infection/flare etc.
Also they found a stricture between small and large intestine and a partial blockage in the left side and a fistula that goes from one side of the large intestine to the other near the bottom end.

So they did a transverse colostomy basically disconnected my large intestine 1/4 of the way and left the bad 3/4 to rest.

But today I'm in horrivble pain on the left side also have stool coming out.
and also passing bit's of like stringy clear/bloody mucus and also some bright red blood. could this bee healing or more inflamation.

Or could it be the fistula draining and closing or the stricture.

Oh my goodness!!!!! I'm sorry to hear all you've been going through! I would think what you're describing would be a good case for heading to emergency. Or, if possible I'd at least talk to your advice nurse/doctor. Please keep us updated and I hope things can be taken care of for you soon. :hug:

it's evening now and it has settled I've noticed this happens when I take my vit d in pill form if I take a liquid I'm fine it's like my guts don't like vit d in tablet form.

I'm glad it's calmed down. I guess, at least now you know what's causing it. Is there anything you can do different rather than taking the pill form then?
