A little warning to everybody about easy going doctors.

I felt resonably symprom freefor 3+ whole years (to 99,9% of the time with only temporary and mild problems) and thought i was the hardest toughest king of the planet because i had my health. Anyway i started thinking that maybe my crohns wont come back and i should consider cutting off my medication. Because using lots medication daily and being dependant is a mental stress. My doctor explained the risk in a very relaxed manner, but overall had no problems with it and we started tapering down Azathioprine (without making as many tests as i think would be necessary now.. WEEKLY). He is the expert, and if he's cool with it of course i trust him.

Obviously my CD came back and now im in a bad spot! So when you think about stopping your medicine just dont, even though your doctor makes you feel like it could work. Because it probably wont. But if you belive in it, and your illness has been completely gone for many many years go ahead and try it. But VERY SLOWLY and test yourself often for crohns so you dont do too much damage. Your inflammation may start to rise slowly even before you start to feel symptoms.

Hope you learn something from this and be careful, peace!
