Itching Abscess - antibiotics working?

Hi! I can see a few of you have viewed my belly button abscess thing. Well its now gloriously big/painful and i'm taking antibiotics 4xs a day for so far 2 days and a half. However, it is so itchy... what does that mean? does it mean the antibiotics are working?
Really worried as i'm heading back to the docs again today as totally freaking out because i dont know what im seeing is right or wrong..

Hmmm. Usually when things start getting itchy, it's a sign of healing. But I'm glad you're heading off to the doctor 'cause in the world of abscesses, you just don't want to make any guesses!
