Itching!!! Make it stop!!

I started Humira a few weeks ago and had my second dosing (2 shots) last Friday. Since then I've been itching like crazy which has been steadily getting worse. I asked my GI and she said if I don't have hives, it's not Humira. But there is nothing else different in my diet, my soap, my detergent...nothing. :eek2:

Doctor told me to go see a dermatologist, but that doesn't seem to be the right direction.

Am I just crazy? Or is this something else someone has dealt with while on Humira??

I believe any reaction is possible after taking a medication and I dont think we can put the list of side effects in a closed box. has the itching decreased now? hoping for you. you'll probably have more answers at your next injection.

You may want to try Hibiclens surgical soap. It helped me when i was starting Humira a few years ago.

I had the same problem. My doctor recommended switching to Dove soap (or another soap like it) since it is more moisturizing than most other soaps. She also told me to take Zyrtec when needed, which also helped, although I don't need to take it anymore.
