I've almost messed up college.....

Well, i got diagnosed with Chrones almost 2 years ago and being told its under control, and i feel it too i suppose.

However, i started college last september - was all going well, recently i have been falling behind a bit, and i just dont have any motivation whatsoever.

Im so stressed out! I have 6 weeks to get back on track otherwise i'll get kicked off the course. It sounds as if im really bad, but im a good student, i just feel very stressed and just urrgh i dont know.. :(:ybatty:

You should read the thread I put on this part of the forum earlier.
I keep trying to tell myself not to let it beat me, but it is so hard. Hang in there, you might be doing better than you think and in a few weeks you can rest, that is what i keep thinking

I'm the same, I have just finished my A-Levels but being so ill I missed out on a lot because I took so much time off and it will have affected my grades. I might not do as well as I originally had planned when I started the course but I'm proud of myself for sticking with it and doing the best I could.

I do feel a little left out because all my friends are going to university in September and I never had the chance to apply to go this year so have to wait - but I suppose that's a small price to pay.

If you have 6 weeks to turn it around just do what you can to ensure you can continue with your education, then like Holly says you can totally relax for the summer. If it's too much you could always re-take the year. Maybe explain to your tutors what is going on with your help and see if they can offer you any extra support or help catching up. Don't worry too much though you definitely still have options. :)
 
aw that sux i no the feeling. try to take things one day at a time just worry about whats going on that day not what all you have to do in the future. then when your all done do whatever it is you do to relax and unwind so you feel beter. good luck to you! and im sure if you tell your teachers or classmates whats going on they can help you get thru it, you know by taking notes and letting you copy them or helping you after class or school. just try to stay focused and relaxed as possible and you will get thru it just fine!
