Joint pain....ugh!

joint pain....ugh!

Question.....This joint pain is new to me...Crohns since 07... it gets so bad can hardly touch the joint and it varies where it is going to be....one day shoulder, then next day shoulder and hip....very frustrating. Does this happen to anyone else...how off and on it is/? Am I making sense...tired...no sleep due to pain. Just wondering....it helps sometimes to hear what others are going through and relate. And the suggestions help. Thanks for letting me ramble on

hi, my doctor said its called migratory arthritis, and mine goes from joint to joint, i find the hips is the worst as you cant get comfortable, even in bed. sorry dont have any suggestions.

Hey Trev, thanks, Sometimes friends and family make me feel like I am making this stuff up...it is sooo hard to explain and unless you are going through it yourself.... know what I mean?! I agree with the hips!!!! ouch!!! SUCKS!!!! I can tell when they are gonna be bad...it feels like a sunburn on the inside. thanks agian for listening

Yea I feel ya on the family and friends (co-workers for me as well) thinking you are making this stuff up. I'm 36 years old and people don't understand why I act like a 60 year old sometimes. Haha I laugh only because I do feel ridiculous that I feel older than i actually am most days. Weather changes knock me on my ass and my meds for my IBD aren't working like they need to so I still have pain due to that issue. And the hip pain is ouch!!! I have it in my shoulders as well. My doctor put me on celebrex for my joint pain. Today is day #3 taking it, I can't really tell yet if it's helping but I'm going back to work today so we will see at the end of the day if I hurt as bad as usual. I just wanted to share my issues with ya so you'd know you aren't alone!! Good luck to ya!!!
