Just did my first 30 day bloodtest check to see how im doing on imuran and am wonderi

hi. been on 150 mgs og imuran 30 days today. went in for bloodwork. my req is for every 30 days for 2 years. they look at liver functions, hemoglobin, and white blood along with crp. do most people go evry 30 days or every 60 days? thanks, kelly

I go every 90 days for my blood work, usually a CBC and then the next time it's a CBC and urine/liver function. Done this for over 10 years. You may get to wait it out longer the longer it's in your system. It takes about 3 mos to be totally effective. It's not like most meds which work with in a day or two, Imuran is 90 in and 90 out. At least that's what I've been told and have gone by.
