Hi I'm Brooke

I was diagnosed with UC three years ago. I am currently on 6MP. I have recently had a flare up following 4 weeks of antibiotics for pneumonia, and now am on a two week course of flagyl. I have been having a lot of stomach pain and it actually hurts to touch the skin where my stomach is located. Has anyone else experienced this bloating and painful to touch area? I am glad I found this site.

When i am in a flare it really hurts to touch my stomach and that will start me vomiting or a bm.

The pain with treatment will get easier cna say it physologically does tho but hang in there x

Hello Brooke and welcome to the forum.

It could be the tum is still settling down, when are you next due to see your doc for a check up? Are you getting other symptoms with the pain? Where abouts on the abdomen is the pain?
