Just started on Humira

Hi all -

Just came across this forum a short while ago. Tons of GREAT info here.

I'm 39 and was just diagnosed with Crohn's this past January. Started on prednisone, asacol, and dicyclomine, but it was determined within a couple months that I was likely steroid dependent, so my GI decided Humira was the best next step.

Just this past Monday, I administered four shots for the first dose, then in two weeks, I'll do two more, then one every other week thereafter. Here's hoping it works! It's definitely interesting to read all the varying opinions and degrees of success.

Welcome to the club. Sounds like your GI is stepping-up the treatment pretty quickly, let's hope you see the benefit soon.

I hope Humira works for you. I'm on Humira, but still seem to be steroid dependent.

I just started Humira last week, and I just joined this forum two weeks ago! Very similar haha!
And so far I'm enjoying both Humira and this forum a lot
