Just to share - a good scope result

Hello!

I just thought I'd share that my son (now 6 years old, diagbnosed at 5 years old) had a good gastroscopy/colonscopy recently. Nothings much to see, have taken biospies to look at. Of course he still has crohn's and still has perianal fiisures, but apart from that he is going good.

I'm trying to just enjoy the moment and not wonder when he will have a flare!! It is funny isn't it how I am waiting for things to go bad!! I guess because I know it is a life-long illness.

But anyway, enough of the ramble - I just wanted to post some good news.

I get those same thoughts too hun. I find I get them when the kids are well because I think you realise even more how fleeting the good times can be and you never want them to end. :hug:

Totally hear ya sista! My daughter is on field trip today and I got a call from an unknown cell number. Ran to pick it up figuring it was the teacher calling to tell my there was a problem...also after every blood test...I am waiting for the call with the bad results...PTSD much?

Thank you for all your replies! It is good to remember my little worries are normal! But I am concentrating on just enjoying life - which is what my son is definitely doing!
