What "Ibd funny" as in only if you have Ibd
Has your child said lately.

1.) DS was planning on asking the Gi during his next scope "if he found any chicken bones in there?"
2.) he also thought he should get the Gi a card with a dog butt up In a food bowl that read "bottoms up".

After a GI appointment A marched into the lobby area and loudly announced to my mom who was waiting for us (and a room full of very quiet people), "You know it is a good day when you don't have to get a finger up your butt!" It is the little things in life.....lol.

And you know the Alicia Keys song "Girl on Fire"? Well, as we are coming out of a rest stop bathroom she very loudly starts singing, "My butthole's on fire!" to the tune of "Girl on Fire". Oh my.....got some looks on that one!

DS likes making up names for all the meds...

Miralax = Gogo juice
Prednisone = Superman pills
Prilosec = Tum Tum pills
Azathioprine = Z pills
Vitamins = Hamster food (cuz that's what they smell and look like)
Probiotics = Buggers

when DD had to do the "cleanout" for her first colonoscopy, she renamed the gatorade/miralax mixture "Gatorlax".

and, now refuses to TOUCH gatorade, ever EVER again

I can totally relate to this one. I thought Jae would be the same way. We don't do gatorade anyway. I had to end up using ginger ale mixed half and half with the miralax to get the cleanout done (she started refusing the gatorade), and she didn't realize what I was doing. I told her I was "pushing fluids so she wouldn't get dehydrated" but later wised up and asked me if I was putting the gatorade mix in with it (I think she realized because she kept having to go to the toilet and having crampy tummy)...

we chose a clear gatorade since it taste different- works well for a good scope and keepsp normal gatorade palatable for DS.
