I was looking for some food suplements as I'm pretty much physically active (mostly gym).
I'm 182 cm high and have 69 kg (152 lbs). I know it's not too bad, but the BMI is on the lower boundary.
Currently I'm on Imuran (azathioprine) 125mg and Salofalk (Mesalazine) 2g, and my Crohn is pretty much under control (occasionaly have flare-ups). I'm not following any specific diet, but I'm trying to eat as much protein as I can (mostly poultry) and staying away from junk food of any kind.
Some folks told me about L-glutamine and whey protein so I made a little bit of research on the web, but have found a lot of conflicting information.
What is your experience with those suplements?
Do you recommend one manufacturer over another?
Do I actually need any of those suplements?
