Hi all,

Did a comp stool test to get to the bottom of my GI symptoms.

Nothing out of the norm apart from elevated Lactoferrin and Lysozyme 148 and 1310 respectively.

However i do not have the typical IBD symtpoms.

No blood in stool, never had to go to the toilet more than once a day, no severe pain.

I have loose stools, initially lost weight and have cramping as well as bubbling around the terminal ileum or appendix?

Anyone think that i cannot have IBD due to not having those symptoms i listed?

thanks

It is possible to have IBD without major symptoms, that is part of what makes it such a horrible disease. However, the symptoms you do have can be both a sign of IBD or of another illness so it is important to get seen by a GI and get some more in-depth testing to see what exactly is going on.
