Large Hard Mass

I've had this mass in my ileum for a few months now from scar tissue. 5 weeks ago i developed uti symptoms so the doctor put me on antibiotics. Right after I started them the mass became very hard and larger than ever before. It's spreading down to my pelvic region, it's swollen all the time and is painful to the touch. It literally takes up the entire right side of my abdomen to the right of my belly button. I'm worried that the mass may be something else besides scar tissue. Could this be an abscess or is this large, hard mass a normal thing? Also, my doctor says that I no longer have an infection, but I still have uti symptoms, so I'm pretty sure I have a fistula. But would the fistula cause swelling?
Any advice would be wonderful!

My left colon is currently swollen makes my back hurt like I don't know what looks like I have a baseball in there. Strongest pain meds I have are tylonal and tramadol an abscess or blockage was the first thing I thought , but Im not a doctor. Scar tissue I have a lot of that Ive probably asked the same questions but don't think I ever got answer. I read somewhere that a mass could mean a blockage or abscess maybe even a fistuala, sorry I'm not more help actually going to my GI this morning because this hurts.

If the mass is swollen, painful and has gotten larger, it is past time ot see a doctor about it. It could be one of many things, such as an infection/abscess, swelling, etc.

Thanks for the replies! I called my GI doctor this morning and he said it sounds like an infected cyst near my pelvic region. I have an appointment with my primary care doctor tomorrow. Hopefully they'll be able to give me some definitive answers and help!
