Hi
I had a colonoscopy on monday and the results were that I had normal colonic mucosa with mild stenosis at the ileocolonic anastomosis which was ulcerated and scope would not go thru. ballon dilation performed to 15mm. once scope entered it revealed minor neoileal inflammation only..
the dr has me on 2.4 mezavant per day and also taking movicol. I don't have any diarrhea, im the opposite quite often constipated and so bloated ,some times I look pregnant. I was first diagnosed in 1995 when I had a bowel resection. should I be looking at any other meds to help. I am going to get B 2 injections as well.

In my opinion, yes, you should be on stronger medications. Especially since you've already had a resection and had more stenosis.
