LDN working so far

Only disappointing part was he has not gained any weight since appt. in June but has grown an inch. He is now 4'11" and 76 pounds Doc seems to think he just needs to increase his calories which I agree with as he has never had much of an appetite and now needs to keep eating even when his "mind" says he is full. We may add a appetite enhancer based on the next few months but for now we are just going to try and get those calories up.

Trying adding some of the nutritional drinks to his diet. As it would only be a supplement, the shakes can be the 'tastier' ones. 
...Boost, Ensure or even Carnation Instant Breakfast.
I think I've even seen nutritional 'puddings' on the Nestle website :lol: Haven't looked into them at all but am guessing they have higher nutritional values and higher calories.

He absolutely refuses to drink the Boost / Ensure. We've tried the Breeze, drank a few and decided he didn't like them they were too gritty. UGH :ybatty:
I had to sit quietly in the corner and listen to the doctor tell him everything I've been telling him he needs to do and how he needs to think about food like medicine and even when he is eating and his brain tells him he is full to just eat 3 more bites and pretty soon he will have worked up to getting the calories his body needs. I can't tell you how hard it was not to say SEE I DO KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. I don't know how I'm going to make it through these teenage years and they are just starting. I think his brain is leaking out his ear and he thinks I'm too old to know anything because that is not the way it is done now followed by the eye roll :yrolleyes:

Oh how I'm on that same boat ride with you Jmrogers4!!! Everything I say, from meds, treatments/supplements, to homework, driving skills etc falls on deaf ears because C absolutely thinks there is no way I could possibly know what I'm talking about!
Hope the doc's nudge helps Jack with trying to take in more calories and you guys start seeing some weight gain soon!!
