Levels high

Hi all I've been on 100mg of 6mp for 6 months now with no problems , untill now consultant checked my normal bloods plus the one that checks the 6mp level and they are in the high range but still within safe parimiters, he wants then re checked beginning of the week, but I feel so drained this past few days, has anyone else encountered this?

Years ago my levels were so out of control that I ended up in the hospital for a week to get me evened out. This was over ten years ago, and we were not taking very good care of staying on top of my blood work.

I haven't been on it since, but my GI has prescribed Imuran for me again, so I'll be starting next week. We're going to be watching my levels very closely, blood tests weekly to make sure I don't get in trouble again.

Your doc will have to decide what to do with your meds from here, but I will agree with you, that you feel miserable and completely worn out.

Do you have a copy of your blood tests? What is on a high level? The white blood cell count? The CPR levels? Anything else?

What is your body weight? The effective dose of 6mp is between 0.8mg and 1.3mg of 6mp per kg bodyweight.
