Hello all,

I gave myself the loading dose of Humira last night and today I feel like I've been ran over by a train. My joints ache, I feel super fatigued, but no fever. I feel exhausted. Is this normal? Also, does this go away?

I'm try to remind myself that my immune system just suffered a blow from the Humira but I never expected to feel like this....

Any advice/experiences would be great. Thanks!

I had about the same thing with the loading doses. It lasted a couple of days. I still feel pretty washed out on the days I take the shot. The way I look at it is I get 13 days of feeling pretty good for the 1 days of not feeling great. Better then feeling bad all the time. Good luck! Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Shermel,

I always try to take my injection in the afternoon, that way I can nap and not feel so tired the next day. I too have tried to take my injection at night, but like you, the next day I was so tired and sore. So try if (if you can) to do your next injection later in the day and see if that does not help somewhat with the faituge.
