I just had a check up today and have been told as I have put on a good amount of weight and my bloods are healthy Prof Morton will be reversing junior.

Although this news I've been longing for Its came with a bitter sweet taste and a part of me is sad to see the little fella go. He helped me get better and I can't help but wonder if by getting him reversed will just make me worse again, not to mention I just started getting used to his quirks and likes and dis likes.

I just started to feel comfortable about dating and life and now he's got his marching orders.

Parting is such sweet sorry, though I suppose he will always have a special place inside me.

Aww...it will be sad to see Junior go. If the doctor thinks it is time, it proably is for the best.

Good news then! Yes, the little bugger will still be there inside you, probably missing the lime light and the ability to 'sniff' the air.

But, hopefully you will sail through it and you will retain your health!

i felt the same way with my last ileostomy - just got used to it and had it reversed, but I then had nearly two years without and found life a lot easier. Have now got another temporary one and still trying to get used to it.
Even though I have ended up with another it was worth having the first reversed. hope this helps,
 Anna
