New to the forum but not new to Crohn's.
About 45 years a go, I was diagnosed with Crohn's.
Had surgery removed about 5' of the small intestine, 1' of the large.

I have two perianal fistulas. One started about six years a go the other
about two.

I am taking meds for blood pressure.

Benazepril 20mg
Amlodipine 10mg both once a day.

Here is question.

I stopped taking the medications, and the fistulas are GONE.
Start the meds, I can feel coming back.

Has anybody run in to this?

Regards,
aam.

The reason that I posted was for other members with the same situation, is to maybe try see if that works. Those who have them know the pain.

For about a week, could not seat, walk, etc.
The funny think is that it all started, when I was put on the blood pressure meds.

Thanks for replying, on my next appointment I will...

Regards,
aam.
