Hi, I haven't written in a few years, but am back with a question. My husband has had a calm past few years with his Crohns, but its baaack! He recently had a small bowel follow through, as his Dr was sure we were at the point strictures were going to require surgery. But, the follow through didn't really show much narrowing, but it did show a lot of mesenteric fat stranding around the outside of his intestines. Has anyone had this? Does it require surgery or change in meds? We have a follow up appt with the GI, but I'm trying to figure out what kind of situation we're dealing with and what questions to make sure we ask the doc. My husband is currently on entocort, methotrexate, and humira. Really hoping its not the meds stopping. Any insight would be appreciated.
