Earlier this year, I had an enterography done. They asked me about metal. They detected some metal inside of me. I didn't have a clue. Do they usually put staples inside during a resection? My resection was five years ago and I don't remember any mention of them putting any metal there.

Wouldn't think staples
But if you worked in an industrial setting its not uncommon to have bits of metal in places
Typically they even X-ray your eyes prior to an MRI since you wouldn't even be aware of it ,
Other things could manage to cause it as well
