I'm not sure where this post should be located so im sorry if it would fit better in another sub group.

For the past 2 weeks I have had on and off bladder fullness lower abdominal pressure. The only way I could describe it was like when you wake up in the morning and you realllllyyyy need a wee to the pou t that it hurts. Well I feel like that all day long. It hurts to sit or stand straight as it feels like im pulling and making the pressure worse.

being on remicade I assumed it was a uti or something eventually mum bought me some otc sachets to drink to flush you out and rid anything like yeast etc. Well I took them and drank loads and felt relief for about 5 days then out of nowhere it came back with a vengeance it was so much more painful to the point that I left class and went straight to the drs office.

There they did the usual and a urine analysis. They found traces of blood so they sent it off to be cultured. I was given antibiotics and a type of pain relief associated with a bladder infection.

Well the culture came back clear, no bacterial growth. And the relief the tablets provided seem to be wearing off already. My stomach hurts Im peeing more regularly it doesn't burn or anything but my stomach does hurt to urinate.

anyway. Could this still be just a bladder infection n I gotta wait it out for the antibiotics to really work? Or because there was no bacteria does that mean the antibiotics wont really be affective with whatever this is...?

thanks for any input/advice
people on here are more knowledgeable and experienced than any dr I know.

Have your symptoms gotten any better?

I notice in another thread you mention sex being painful for you. Do you have any other symptoms that might indicate endometriosis? There's a list of possible symptoms in the wiki article and here: Endometriosis Overview. Endometriosis affecting the bladder could cause these issues.

 I hope things are better for you!

Thanks for your reply. The pressure has gotten better I can walk normally now lol but I have pain in my stomach when I urinate, I also have groin pain no real rhyme or reason to any of the pain either. Finished my antibiotics yesterday looks like ill be going back to the dr.

I dont think it's endometriosis, I dont know im not a dr but I mentioned thw pain to my gyn and she said everything looked normal... I just assumed this would be a uti thanks to remicade lol but no nothings ever simple haha.

ill mention the bladder pain to my gyn on my next appt too. Im sure is coming up soon lol.

Groin pain? Are your lymph nodes in your groin swollen? When I was on Remicade it made my lymph nodes swell and it was pretty painful. Have them checked if possible.

As for the bladder, have you had a Cystoscopy (scope of the bladder) done yet? If not talk to your Urologist about having one done to make sure its not an issue with the bladder (inflammation, fistulas or anything like that). If you don't have a Urologist, try to get one (might need a referral from your GP, the traces of microscopic blood in your urine is reason enough to send you to one).

Hope you find the cause and feel better soon! :)

Thanks! No urologist. I felt better today! No pain -touch wood- will def ask for that referral if this crops up again but hopefully ive flushed what ever it was out -fingers crossed- I won't hold my breath though lol this happened last time too haha! Just confused me as to what could be the cause if no bacteria. I just assumed in a warm moist area it would be bacteria over anything else! Gunna keep close note on any back groun or whatever pain so I dont hang around if its still there! But can be hard to tell whether its general crohns discomfort lol
