Was reading the post on coconut and pineapple and its motivated me to share my miracle food.... toasted bread...!! iam not talking about simply toasting bread but the bought variety... i have been eating toasted breads for the past year now... almost every day... and i firmly believe ... that these have played the most single important dietary contribution to me.... i know that after 2 or 3 days of eating them the big D stops and after 2 or 3 days of not eating these it returns.... i suppose they are dry and maybe they bulk up... but i know i cannot eat ordinary bread..... i have put on over 2 stone in the last year... and they have allowed me to eat many things that before i could not eat.... but not milk or as i said bread in its traditional form... can even have a drink... i have made other changes to my diet but i know i will be buying these toasted crisp breads for ever..... probably sounds mad... but would be interested in hearing what any one else thinks.... try them... for or 4 days eat 6 or 7 a day... some times i eat them dry or with a small amount of butter... the brand i eat are from van der meulen and are called Melba toast.... but i know other ones work too... pogens for example....

As you probably know, there isn't one 'miracle food' that works for everyone.
Glad you found something that works for you, though.
I do love toast! I only eat the sprouted variety. Wheat hurts a lot of people,
so i doubt the bread/toast thing is going to be very popular.

for some reason, I can eat Chinese food all I want and never have any bad aftermath from it. this is just general tso's mainly.

well toast is one of the components of the BRATT diet that all mommies put their kids on to cure the big D.
maybe theres something special about dried bread? who knows.
bratt never worked on me though lol

now you've made me hungry..
thanks a lot kello! it's 11:30 P.M. here, I gotta wait SOOOO long now..
*sad panda*

hey you started with the chinese food!
you made ME hungry! lol

panda is alright, plan on eating Christmas dinner there. we have a local place here called Formosa, and they even have honey garlic chicken. panda always gives me bad sweet tea, though.

I have heard of Panda Express, never been there. "Panda" is an animal, not a restaurant. start reading, ha ha :)

Cheap chinese food! woohoo

Hey, wasn't this thread about toast? lol

I've seen one of those around me, I have no clue why, but I thought at first "Panda" was perhaps some nickname I'd never heard of for Chinese food. Then I remembered, true Chinese food is closer to "Fido".

There's a joke in there somewhere. but I just can't get it out. Something about bamboo shits in your Chinese food.
(Instead of bamboo shoots... panda... eats bamboo... shits... get it? Something??)

Two pandas are goin on a picnic. One of them has crohns. The first panda says "Okay, we're ready. I've got the shoots." The crohnie panda looks at the first and says "Awesome. I've got the shits."

later i will probably read this and wonder what the hell i was thinking.

Aww....what have you guys done?! Now I'm DYING for Chinese. I'm so glad it doesn't bother my stomach....I think I would be rather depressed if it did.

But as for the whole "miracle food" thing, I've never personally tried it, but my friend use to have horrible pains all the time and then heard about how the bacteria in yogurt can help stomach pains. He tried it and he started feeling a lot better after a while. I think he eats like one or two a day. I've seen yogurts that actually say something about the bacteria or something on it so I guess that would work even better than normal yogurt. I've heard of an older woman who tried it ,too, and it worked for her as well.
