Modulen again and Azathioprine

So, the doctors confirmed yesterday that I have indeed relapsed, I am pretty sure this is due to the fact in the past 2 months I have had 6 GCSE exams and my parents split up.. safe to say wasn't the best couple of months I've ever had! So the doctors say they want to put me back on modulen because it worked so well on me last time however was not long lasting (apparently nobody told us about the low success rate after coming off) however I am worried about getting fat because I have only lost 1Kg so far and last time I gained 2 stone on the modulen! And they want to put me on Azathioprine to maintain the remission, has anyone had any experience with Azathioprine or had any side effects? I'm a bit worried.

Hi Charlotteee. I'm so sorry to hear that you are having such a rough time :-( Have you checked out the Imuran club in the treatment section? You'll find lots of info etc from members also on Azathioprine/Imuran over there.
