I have been reading about monk fruit sugar, it's all the rage and companies are jumping on it. It's from a superfood, the monk fruit from China. The sugar is an extraction and 500x sweeter than refined white sugar. I know Splenda and Sugar in the Raw both are selling these. Nectresse is one of the products.

I am going to try it but I suspect in
2 years research will say its just as bad as agave, honey, maple, etc.

Good information. The only problem is, like the previous "sugar rages", companies will try and figure out a way to refine the resource much like how agave was after its popularity exploded. I wish things like this wouldn't become the new sugar rage because then companies wouldn't refine and alter the food and people wouldn't forever associate "monk fruit" in this case to be unhealthy. Shame

Thanks for the info though.
