Does anyone else suffer with mouth problems due to their Crohn's? I know the ulcers can affect any part from the anus to the mouth.
I keep getting a sore tongue - tingling feeling and red, and I keep getting what looks like cold sores and ulcers.

I've just got a mouth ulcer as of this morning. I dont usually get them, but since starting pred a few months ago i've had 3/4. I also had oral thrush about a month ago too. oh the lovely side effects of pred.

I have them on and off. There is a mouth rinse for mouth sores that is available and really seems to help I think it is mostly Hydrogen Peroxide

*foreveracrohn's - I'm on Pred also. Been on them a few months and I've also had oral thrush! It's just irritating 👎

I've been tapered off the pred 3 times now and loved it when the side effects lessened. only problem was the furthest i got with the taper was being pred free for one day, because my azathioprine clearly isn't doing it's job. going on biologics soon, which sound fun.

I seem to get really bad tooth/jaw ache on the same side as where i usually get the ulcers. ever get the same thing, or could it be completely unrelated?

It's horrible, I've never had any mouth problems before! Never even had a cold sore. I've got 2 now, on each side of the corner of my mouth. There so irritating an my tongue feels like it's tingling 😤
