Does anyone notice that they tend to get mouth ulcers when they travel to a certain place?

Growing up, I had horrible, horrible mouth ulcers all of the time. After I moved away for college, I never got them quite as bad. It has been 21 years since I lived in my parents house and I still get mouth ulcers, but nothing like I did as a child. But whenever I go to my parent's house (usually for a weekend visit), I always end up with at least one mouth ulcer. I just spent a week at their house and ended up being misserable with multiple mouth ulcers, just like when I was a child. My mom thought it might be mold/allergy related.

Does anyone else notice that they tend to get more mouth ulcers when they are in a certain location?

I haven't ever had anything like that. I get mouth ulcers after eating certain things - some nuts or fruits, for example. But that doesn't mean you're wrong. You know, everyone's different.
But...
If stress exacerbates your symptoms, maybe your family stresses you out?! It always happens when you're at home, you say? LOL
