Hey guys just wondering if you try and move around after eating maybe go for a walk or something like that.
Most of the time I feel poorly so I just go back to my recliner after eating and sit in front of the tv I do the same after breakfast I now think I have neglected my digestion and am paying for it and also do you take supplements religously or forget about them half the time.

Most of the time I eat is at work which is usually pretty hurried and I don't have a lot of time to eat. So, I don't have a whole lot of time to relax afterwards. But, at home is a different story. Quite often at home (especially at night) my husband and I will eat dinner and then cuddle up afterwards in front of the tv until it's time for bed. So, I don't know how much that will help.

I take my supplements at the same time I take my medications. I take two doses a day and split my supplements up between the two. Otherwise, I'd probably forget. The best thing for me is having a pill organizer that I get ready for a whole week and take accordingly transferring each days worth into a different pill container.

I started doing this with my medications when I was first diagnosed in 1996 and it's done well for me.

Walking is very good for the gut. I didn't really realize this myself until earlier this year. I went on a trip to Japan for 3 weeks and did a LOT of walking there (we were averaging 8-10 miles of walking each day). And, I felt great the whole time! That was the best I've felt all year. I think part of it was the Japanese diet, lots of rice and fish which is very easy on me, but I am sure the walking was also a big part of it. So now I try to walk as much as I can.

I also take my supplements at the same time as my meds. It's a lot of pills to take at once, but that's the best way I've found so that I don't forget my supps.

Yeah I'm kinda pissed at myself I wasn't taking calcium I was only taking magnesium and other herbs

I do the same as Cross Stitch Gal. I take my supplements (Vit D, Vit B complex, Potassium) with my meds. I sort both my prescriptions and supplements in a weekly pill sorter. This helps me remember all my meds most of the time.
