So I have been more or less in a "flare" (quotations because no diagnosis yet) for about 7 months. Started out as soreness every couple weeks up to being in pain at all times. My job was suffering, I work in a deli and on my feet, lifting reachin etc all the time. I ended up in the ER at the beginning of Dec and had to call in sick, apparently the other girl that was working was sick too, so no one scheduled till 2 pm. My boss had pulled me off the schedule for a few weeks and I went back just before and after Christmas for a few days
I went in to look at the schedule on Friday and she only has me working 2 shifts the next 2 weeks. Well I was upset thinking she'd just trying to get me to quit so she doesn't have to deal with my health issues anymore. Well she just called... she just wanted to give me the one shift to make sure I stay in the system. She told me to not take what is posted as written in stone. She actually has been researching IBD on her own time! I was impressed. We talked a bit and she wants me to know she doesn't want me gone, far from it. She loves me and is just worried about my health. We discussed how I am feeling and such, and we decided that 5 shifts a week were too much. She is going to cut me down to 3 a week Wow, so happy now, so much stress gone!
