Hi all. I just officially joined the site but have been reading ya'lls posts for a few weeks. I have had GI issues for years, in and out of ER's...and no one could quite figure out what was wrong with me. Finally, after years of not knowing what the heck is wrong and wondering if I was crazy and/or suffered from some kind of hypochondria, a wonderful GI came in to my life that finally diagnosed me with Crohn's collitis. After a couple of years of only slight relief from azathioprine and countless rounds of prednisone, I started Humira just a few weeks ago after my Crohn's got so out of control that I developed both Pyoderma Gangrenosum and Erythema Nodosom. I spent months being treated for MRSA that I didn't have and a debridement that almost killed me. Finally a wound specialist diagnosed me properly and my new GI put me on more aggressive treatment for the Crohn's. I just did my second set of injections..and am very hopeful. I do have some crappy side effects of the humira the first few days after injection...but I am going to hope those subside with time.

A Crohn's diagnosis definitely isn't fun, but it helps to know what you're dealing with. Hopefully the Humira side effects subside and you can get some relief. Awesome that you have a great GI, it is so important!

Good luck!
