Hello,
Well I have been on the site reading for a couple weeks, and figured its time to post something. I am 24 family man w/ wife, and 1 child. I have had my crohn's for 3 years now. Overall it has been good, and well managed with Lialda; however, in the last couple months things have gone bad. Right at the end of August one day I was woke up with a bad stomach pain. I had a flare I think? After a couple days it got better. Went to the doctor they upped the Lialda, and said if they pain came back to call, and they would start prednisone. I was doing rather well up to the end of September. Then I was starting to feel drained, and stomach was sour. Went back to the Dr. this time they put me on prilosec. This was ok did not have any drastic affects on my stomach though. So now I was in to October, and slowly starting to feel a little worse every day. Then November 3 I was woke from my sleep with terrible pain in the left side stomach area. Took some pepto, and laid down, and managed to fall back asleep. At the start of that week I managed to be seen by my Dr., and they started me on prednisone (60MG taper every 10 days). After 4 days on prednisone I still felt bad called Dr. scheduled appointment. From that appointment I had to get CT scan, and blood work. Blood work was ok, Ct scan showed that my abdomanl lymph nodes seem swollen (I think it was the lymph nodes cant say 100% though). So they had me take ciprofloxacin for 7 days. Still not feeling good so I called the doctor early this week they had me get blood work again. Have not heard results from the latest blood work. As of now I Have missed 3 days work have, and have been late a few times. I have no energy I did not go to thanksgiving yesterday, and it has been causing a lot of stress on the family:frown:. At this point I am very frustrated, and fell like I get confused dog look (eyebrow raised head turned to side) from Dr's when I see them . I am excited to hear from the people of this site, and look forward to lend any information that I can.
