I am 27, I'm married and a mother of 4. October of last year I was Diagnosed with Crohn's. My symptoms have been okay for the most part, other than a fistula that I have had since September of last year. Well it has been decided to let my fistula heal they are going to give me a colostomy. They hope it will be a temporary thing but it may be a forever thing and I am still having a mini breakdown worrying about everything. I go on the 7th of June to talk to the surgeon.... but not sure I can handle all this.

Welcome to the forum, I'm sorry that you're going through this. How did the appointment go? Often these are just temporary, try not to worry. I know it's easy to say, but stress just makes Crohn's worse. Hang in there.

That is coming up soon, try not to let it consume you though. Stress is our enemy. Hopefully you will get in as scheduled and be headed in the right direction quickly. I hope that darn fistula goes away for good, they are no fun. You can reach out to me any time you would like to talk, pm's are fine too. I will be sure to get back to you.
