My throat is killing me.

I'm not exactly sure what it is. Thankfully I'm done with my rounds of Flagyl and Cipro. I think they upset my upper stomach a lot, and gave me horrible heartburn. That's when the throat pain started. I think all the acid in my stomach came up and burned my throat.

But that was 3 days ago, and it's still pretty painful. I've been taking Prilosec which has helped the heartburn but not the throat pain. I guess I'm just worried if it's still from the heartburn or is it the Crohn's attacking my throat? I see my doctor on Thursday and will talk to him about it then. Really sorry I had to take those antibiotics though. Still having D from them, that will take some time to get back to normal. They just really seemed to make things worse not better.

Can you take a flash light and look in a mirror and see anything?

Can't really see much, maybe a little irritated looking. It hurts kinda further down in so can't really see good unfortunately.

Hopefully your doc pays more attention than mine. My throat when I'm 'flaring' swells to where it becomes hard and painful to swallow, and stuff gets caught and I've gotta get a drink to wash it down.

Look doc, you can even see the stress clogging up my throat! Take a biopsy of it and tell me if it's school/work related or if I'm just nuts in the head! :ybatty:
