Myasthenia Gravis

hi, I have been having a droopy eyelid and been told it could be myasthenia Gravis which is also an immune disorder and I wondered if it was linked to the crohns and also if anyone else had it?

Hi, I don't know that MG is linked to Crohn's, and I don't have it myself, but my father in law has it. He was diagnosed 3 years ago and when it happened it was pretty scary, and I had to take care of him for months on end. He is getting up there in age tho, diagnosed at 70. He is doing very well now that they have it under control and no problems any more. Unfortunately one of the first meds that he was prescribed was the dreaded prednisone. He is down to 5 mg every other day now, and will probably stay at that dose indefinitely.
It is definitely an auto-immune disorder, so I guess the link would be that if you have Crohn's then you have a higher risk of developing another AI unfortunately.
Do you have any other symptoms from the possible AI?
