I think its important to smile sometimes . so this thread is . name your stoma .l.l
My first one was Mr Blobby . cause it ws prolapsed .. and it flopped all over the place .. . this one id cdefinatly a Miss Piggy .......... Cause it looks like its nose is Squashed ..

Mine's called Oscar...as in Oscar the Grouch...or as my fiance says, Oscar the Pouch...lol

when I first got my ileostomy in 1986 it was named Phil the bag. (get it? fill the bag? lol) Then when I married my husband named Phil in 1997 there would be confusion among a few of my friends when I'd talk about Phil because they wouldn't know if it would be about Phil my hubby or Phil my ostomy so out of respect for hubby, I changed it last year to Bob when I had surgery to fix 3 strictures and a hernia because the stoma would "bob" up and down. To this day, all of my doctors refer to my ileostomy as Bob and would always ask how's Bob doing? and I'd say fine, thank you for asking.

Bob had a blowout tonight and leaked into my open wound. Had to put a call into my visiting RN to repack it. There are days where I wish I was normal like everyone else. (sigh).
