need help with questions!

hello all! i am newly diagnosed and am currently weaning from steriods. feeling much better except for the odd glitch! I have never been a ""bleeder"" but today when i went to the can! LOL, I had a burning sensation and the toilet had blood in it! Whats happening!

Newly diagnosed with??? There's a lot of variety here - every Crohn's patient is a little different, and being as specific as you can will help you get a LOT of information here. Lots of reasons that someone with a bowel disease can bleed, and many of them have different remedies. Help us help you!

If this is a new symptom, keep an eye on it. I don't think it's anything to worry about at this point, but maybe let your doctor know. It's possible this will only happen once (even "normal" people bleed on occasion), you have a new symptom (hooray!), or something more serious is happening. But I really wouldn't worry about it at this point, until it is happening frequently.

Unless of course there was a LOT of blood and you're feeling light headed, in which case calling your doc or going to the ER might be proper.

I was diagnosed with Crohns. thanks everyone feel better! Every pain makes me nervous of a relapse! lol
